had been planning to do a painting of a savoy cabbage for a while now, knowing
that I would enjoy the task of painting all the veining and the various greens
throughout. When I saw the DPW challenge
to paint a vegetable, I finally got to it, but just about a week or so late …
Here it is anyway.

It's super, Margaret. And what a great marriage of subject and style. All those delineated veins against a darker background must have truly beckoned to you! Grand work!
